Review highlights

Based on 46 reviews

Kyukyu Ramen 99 at Robinsons Novaliches is generally recognized for delivering an authentic Japanese ramen experience with affordable pricing and generous serving sizes. Reviewers often highlight the flavorful broths, particularly the Ichiban Ramen, which is noted for its satisfying umami and saltiness. While the noodle texture and broth consistency receive mixed feedback, the overall taste is considered decent for the price. The restaurant's ambiance is described as simple and clean but limited in space. Staff are viewed as mostly accommodating, though some mention a lack of enthusiasm in service. The self-service setup for drinks adds convenience, and unique menu items like the Cheesy Ramon Tonkotsu appeal to specific tastes. Overall, Kyukyu Ramen 99 is recommended for casual ramen cravings without breaking the budget.

22 Mar 2025, 12 noon. The store is located on the LGF of the mall. Even considering that it was Sunday lunch hour, getting seated was easy. I had the Ichiban Ramen (PHP 199), the 4-pc gyoza (79), and the red iced tea (49). Everything was cooked on the sequence it was ordered, but I wouldn't say it was piping hot when I picked up my order. The flavors are so-so but the price-to-serving ratio is okay. My order got served in about 10 minutes, so it would be fair to say that this is the fastfood chain equivalent of a Japanese restaurant, and so would be a good choice for a quick bite.

Is it worth it? Yes! This is a type of meal well worth the money spent. The serving size was also something they didn't cheap out on. The noodles are not the type that we get from instant noodles and also the broth have this saltiness and umami that makes it more flavorful. The place is quite small, but simple, and neat. The only downside here is the employees it feels like they are not happy to serve you and the cashier looks grumpy.

Most likely similar to Overseas Ramen House. Sadly, the noodles and the beef are not that tasty. Soup stock is good.

◘ Ichiban Ramen - serving is okay with the price Cheesy Ramon Tonkotsu - quite unique and perfect for cheese lovers Gyoza - it's okay but not a fan of it Water - Self service, their refrigerator is accessible, it's just in front of the counter ◙ Staff - though it is a bit self-service, staffs were still accommodating

Their ramen is full of flavors. I enjoyed mine (first authentic ramen). Recommended for your ramen cravings, with affordable price. Try their ichiban!
